Project Overview

About Homer Planes

Community-driven Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADSB) aircraft tracking for Kachemak Bay, Homer Airport, and Southcentral Alaska.

Our Aviation Safety Mission

Homer Planes was created to bring transparent, real-time aircraft tracking to Homer and the surrounding Kachemak Bay region. Operating alongside its sister site, Homer Ships, our goal is to enhance community situational awareness for both air and maritime traffic.

Whether monitoring local floatplane traffic out of Beluga Lake, general aviation flights across Cook Inlet, or commercial flights into Homer Airport (PAHO), our dual-band receiver station logs live position, altitude, speed, and heading telemetry around the clock.
